Surgical Pathology Results Interface

Effective September 15, 2004, Sparrow Hospital began sending surgical pathology reports though an interface to the EMR. Both inpatient and outpatient results will come across the interface as long as the ordering provider is a MSU HealthTeam physician with EMR privileges and the patient is registered in IDX.

As with our other interfaces, paper copies of surgical reports are discontinued only after the new interface is confirmed to be working in full use according to our quality standards.
